I could certainly feel the heat creep up when my HR got above 125 or so, so I tried to keep it under that. I don't think that it's completely water-proof, but it did a nice job of shedding the vast majority of the rain. The front panels also did a great job with respect to wind. The back panel did a nice job in terms of breathing, though the arms were a touch clammy by the time I got home. It just might be my new favorite bit of cycling attire, so I'm super happy with it at the 70 bucks that I paid for it (both red and pink are still available at that price, BTW, if you're a XS, S, M or L).

Whenever I get a new piece of raingear, I put it on and then step into the shower. I like to know before I go.
