Believe it or not, back in the day before we had kids, I would sing my wife to sleep at night with a medley of George Straight, Del Amitri, Blue Rodeo and Bodeans songs. Come to think of it, when my son was a baby I would sing him to sleep with Roy Orbison's "In Dreams." I could hang with Roy until he took that last ascension "Onnnnnly in Dreeaams." Then the difference in talent became apparent.
Maybe when the kids are out of the house the singing will begin again. They don't want to hear it.
