It looks like it is probably being sold factory direct from Newport Oregon, although I'm not seeing a lot of notes on tandems on their website.
I can't imagine the bike would sell for less than $3000 new. But, there is likely some risk. It could ride like a dream, or it could be a flexy wet noodle.
2 days left on the auction is tight, but It would be nice to test the bike before buying.
