I haven't tried it out on the road yet, but it lights up nicely in my basement with the lights off when I spin the front wheel. I'm using zip ties to route the wiring under the downtube and behind the seat tube for now, daydreaming about routing the wiring internally for a cleaner look.

Also, a laser cutter would be cool, but I'll have to make do with hacksaws and Dremel cutoff wheels for now.
