My FBG runs around 100 and has been up to 107, but my last a1c was 4.9. I brought it down from 5.4 in a year, by giving up bread etc. I'm more worried about automobile disease.
Luckily that hits the wimmenz more often than us guys, so you have that going for you.
Edit: I thought you said autoimmune disease. The automobile does hit us cyclists more often. Sad.
