Any platform where neither side has any skin in the game (i.e. pays for the service) will breed flakiness. Yes, it can be painful, but I have had just as many successful purchases as unsuccessful. I like the UI better than Craigslist at least. I do wish they would put the price on the item main tile that shows in the search or when you are browsing.
