Urban 29ers handle trails well. A rigid fork matched with wide tires allows for a floaty ride. The carbon TR fork should be as durable as a cromoly one. In my experience with my Marin Muirwoods 29er, it puts the fun back into a bike ride. A TR should offer a similar ride feel, both on pavement and the trails.
