[Less OCD) I just used a section of inner tube and regular electric tape on the chainstay tube , myself ..
there is a spot on the left fork blade your front brake cable may wear on the paint,
put a little touch Up paint (any color, I had silver only a Match head sized spot) on, when the steel shows..
