i need a light affordable bottom bracket + crankset.

I just bought a 2009 GTR Series 4 from a friend of mine complete for 270$

I sold the alex rims
I removed the sti sora shifters
I removed one chain ring
I remove front deraileur
I remove rear deraileur
I removed 8 speed cassette

I got carbon fiber zipp drops
Install one bar end shifters
Install 9 ultegra cassette
Install 9 speed Dura-Ace rear deraileur

I was only able to get the bike to 19lb.

I understand the GTR Series 4 is a heavy/lowend aluminum frame/bike but I'm just going to try to do what I can to lighten this thing up.

A friend of mine was telling me I can lighten the bike up w/ a different crankset. Right now I'm using FSA Vero w/ one chain ring.

So once more, what else can I do to lighten this bike? (I'm new to this component/multigear stuff), I'm looking for a light affordable..best bang for the buck crankset.

Thanks
