I'm not exactly set on Miele but I tested one a while ago and liked it - it was light and nimble.
And being a Toronto kid I like the local Miele connection.

For reference my current ride is a 12-speed department store bike from the 80's (so the bar is pretty low here )
I did try out a Peugeot but found it kind of heavy (smooth but heavy).

How does the motobecane compare?
