June 1 is the first day of winter in Australia (or southern Australia), and it seemed like a good day on which to scheduled a 400K as a part of a Super Randonneur series held in northern Tasmania. This year, we're hosting rather than riding and we had 3 brave riders tackle the course. All 3 finished well within time after riding through a beautiful day with highs around 15C and a very chilly night with lows around 1C. We had a clear blue sky (and black with lots of stars at night) and, unusually, no wind!!

In the middle of their ride, we were able to get in a shorter ride of our own. Who could pass up a clear blue sky, relatively warm temps and no wind!

I'll post some photos a little later.
