Probably not at this Crystal Lake... it's used for drinking water, so there's no actual access to it. No boating, swimming, etc. Plus it's right next to I-280, so probably not the greatest place to camp. It's pretty though, and is actually part of the San Andreas fault. There's also another very similar fault line lake, San Andreas Lake, just north of Crystal Lake.
...Friday the 13th takes place at a Camp Crystal Lake. It was a joke. And now that it's been explained, it's obviously been improved.
