Some of the organizers around here are bound and determined that FaceBook is the place to post their event. Don't know how they figure that since no one I know cares to use FaceBook and not surprisingly attendance for those such advertised ride events were way down last year. I expressed my concerns to one organizer and they apparently must be of the AOL mentality as they felt FaceBook was the only advertising they needed.
This ^^^ I do not use Facebook. When I'm looking for century rides and the URL directs me to a Facebook page that's just one more century ride I won't be doing.
