Hamstring

I'm gonna revive this old thread! Not much going on around this place anyway. Here's mine. '88, got it nearly three weeks ago for $65. Fixing her up a bit at a time. Already put new brake pads on it. Swapped out the cruddy, rusty QR seat post "bolt" (shown in first photo) for a proper seat post bolt as shown in the last picture. Changed out the six cog freewheel for the proper five cog. Pulled the front axle, cleaned and re-greased the bearings. It needs new outer bearing cones. Got new Kenda K35s hanging on the wall waiting for the new tubes to show up. Got the proper decals waiting on Fleabay for $22 and will get to the rest of the repairs in due time, cables, bottom bracket and rear axle. Gotta get some touch up paint too.
