Switched out the grips for a better color match a few weeks back and installed dual pivot brakes at the back. I tried to do the same in the front but the frame is setup for bolt ons and the set I got was for recessed. The v brake levers make for a bit of a mismatch, but I got the cable tension to a point where the brakes work well enough to keep me happy.
