Seems weirder to complain about what looks like a perfectly serviceable MUP built in a rural CA city. If we insist every bike path be built strictly to code, it'll make it harder to build bike paths. I don't see any branch of it terminating in a brick wall or going off the side of a cliff, so I'll consider that a step up from a lot of MUP design around the country.

From the Youtube comments, it seems to be a pre-existing unpaved trail, that they paved. So thumbs up.
