I've been a big fan of Abus U-locks, but did run across this disturbing picture of a claimed bike theft:
Quality U-locks lock on both legs, the thought being that to steal the bike both legs will have to be cut. This Abus Granit X-Plus 54 Mini was cut through one 13mm leg (as shown) and the claim was the remaining U was able to be
bent enough to slip the bike frame out of the lock.
Doubt if one could bend the 18mm U of a Kryptonite FU in the same way.
