I thought Walmart had an excellent, no questions asked return policy.

"Walmart's Bicycle Return Policy. Walmart accepts returns on bicycles up to 90-days after the purchase. Just wheel the bike to customer service, hand over the receipt, and they will give you a refund."
That's what I thought before this experience. Evidently there is an exception for bicycles, or "they would be replacing bicycles all the time." I'm less worried about the refund and more worried about a bad bike hurting kids.
