Already did. Not bad, but thicker than keirin grips. The fake "rope weave" isn't all that comfortable on shorter tracks with high G forces. You really feel it dig into your hands. Better to use real cloth hockey tape. I did the same thing bit with actual cloth hockey tape, and you can tailor the thickness of the rope weave and the tape. The glue seeps through the cloth and gives you a super grippy surface.
