Probably. I mentioned to the bike shop owner that I’m making a gravel bike out of a 1971 Super Course. He said, “A 1971 Super Course *is* a gravel bike.” He has a point.

@jlaw, they’re 700c. The bike came with 27” wheels and lots of clearance. Now it has even more clearance except between the rear tire and chain stays.
