Ordinarily I would say to do that. But with the whole COVID 19 thing, that might be a slightly risky thing to do.
In my area it wouldn't even be possible since bike shops can only offer curbside service currently. To be honest, a lot of things I am asking on this forum lately, I would normally just walk in a LBS and ask them for advice/purchase the items from them.
With that said, I am very happy that a forum such as this one exists, especially given our current situation.
