I've dismantled and successfully overhauled several Winner and New Winner freewheels, with no specialized tools ( if you don't count universal spanner wrenches). A labour of love for sure. Judicious use of heat is your friend for getting them apart in the first place.
I like that as the attending mechanic, you have full control over the bearing preload, without resorting to unobtanium shims.
