I agree with you completely! I am utterly sick of black bikes. It's the reason I was willing to wait a week for my FX3 Disc to order it in Viper Red rather than the boring black that was in stock.
I have a $3,800 emonda sl6 carbon road bike which is the nicest bike i've ever owned and ridden but it's matte black. it honestly bores me so much riding that thing.... i want it to have a really nice and shiny paint job but i got it at a discount so i accepted the drab matte black reluctantly..... ugh.
