Consequently, the frameset should be a 1987 or 1988 model. This is further corroborated by the presence of the pre-1988 style of Columbus decal, of which old stock was still being used into early 1988 by some manufacturers. 1987 and 1988 pre-date Lemond's TdF victory for Bottecchia and existence of the ADR-Bottechia team. Consequently, these decals, along with the MAVIC and Columbus fork blade decals, were almost certainly applied by a former owner and it's not one of the factory issue team replica models.
