That's a neat paint scheme. Modern hard tail mountain bikes actually make great hybrid bikes. I have a 27.5" one with some 2.2" Continental X-King tires on it and it's terrific on mixed use/gravel stuff. So much so that I don't even bother with my Trek 750 "street hybrid" for anything other than 100% pavement. And it has 38mm tires! The larger tires are just that much more comfortable and pleasant to ride. I have wide MTB fenders on it (my MTB) and will be converting it to Microshift Advent 1x as soon as those parts come in the mail. It's become my go-to bike for almost everything.

I suspect the Scott Aspect will be much the same for you, travbikeman . Enjoy it!
