I had an extensive micro machines collection and still have a very nostalgic soft spot for them. The commercials were fun, too. Fairly certain my mom got rid of them at some point after I moved out but I'm not terribly sad about that--collectibles are a fool's pursuit and it's not like I'd ever do anything with them.

Speaking of nostalgia did you ever watch Square One TV on PBS? It was humorous sketch shows but with math. I hated (still kind of hate) math but the show was so entertaining I watched it religiously. The last few minutes of each show were a spoof of Dragnet called Mathnet. Yep, two detectives solved crimes with math. You can probably find it on Youtube.

Anyway the Micromachines guy was on one of the episodes. Pretty sure he was a villain.
