I have a deep seated hatred of vintage smooth post canti brakes, especially when trying to do a 27" -> 700C conversion on a vintage touring bike with narrow posts.

My Trek has modern spacing and Tektro CR720s and they were the simplest cantis I've ever set up. Really great braking with the stock pads, too.

Can you come do mine? Mine like to glaze over every month or so
We use SwissStop disc brake silencer stray at the shop for stubborn squealers. Seems to work pretty well.
