Good thinking!!! With that setup you can even take some catch home.

Not long ago I rigged my MB for fishing, and I ride my bike nightly and don't have much attached to it but it works really well finding out of the way suburban honey holes that are inaccessible by car.

Depending on how well equipped you want to be a minimalist approach is what I took, a rod holder (I used a plastic bulkhead holder secured with electrical conduit clamps) and a frame mount bag for some tackle and of course water.
