Deege - Reno is a whole new mindset from S. Cal. You have to learn feet and hands and the rest will follow. The cycling season really opens up with the right "cold but dry" gear. And the truly winter months you need to be skiing, Downhill or X-Country. Yes, LotusFlowerfromtheSouth, you can find happiness in Reno.

There's so much truth in that. I was thinking today about how ironic I get bitten by the cycling bug now, and we got five inches of snow yesterday. No skiing for moi, although I'm surrounded by great ski slopes. The last time I skied I fell over turning my head to see if I could see the 7-year-old yelling "To your left!" By that point, he was way beyond me.

I'll use the remaining wintery months contemplating whether I'm going to let Mrs. Jones go, and considering whether it's time for a 'bent.
