I've heard similar recommendations. Un/fortunately, with the kids' school and activities squashed, I don't have time for the 3 - 4 hour rides, anyway. I mean, I guess I could, but that would mean leaving my wife alone with the kids and she just isn't practiced at keeping them occupied at home; they drive her nuts in short order.
