The paint stripper is a bad idea for cf. It will cause the matrix to break down and failure is almost a given at some point in time. CF is pretty tough as long as there are no scars or cuts in it. Finishes can be sanded off with 400/600/1000 grit papers with care being taken to just remove the paint layers. Tedious and time consuming but will allow for a good repaint. After all of the sanding a quick wipe down with acetone to clean off oils and debris and it will be ready to paint. Smiles,MH
