Very popular spot for Motorcycles and Sports cars. That would make me a little nervous because of all the traffic it gets. I'd be afraid of getting run over . Sportbike riders love to crash coming out of that corner above going the other direction towards the cliff.
It can get pretty busy, but not midweek ... which is when we there there.
The thing to avoid is climbing it on weekend afternoons ... particularly Sundays. Descending it is OK most any time. The descent is pretty fast, and if the person behind me is really impatient, I just move over and let them pass.
