Yes maybe "as is" the grease is too thick.
Something to think about at the very least.
Are pawls spring loaded?

I have to take care of my rear rim/hub.
The rim at least is heavy duty as I was breaking spokes on the stock one.
I am two hundred and seventy five pounds.🤗
