That’s a bit extreme. Taking something completely apart to “fix” it, seldom fixes anything. Address the “problem” rather than disassemble the system. If, for example, there is a problem with the crank, address that problem but you don’t need to remove the fork to do so. By all means go over the bike and assess what issues might be present but fix those issues and leave the rest of the bike alone.
Yeah, sure, for the first time and the second time. If you find new stuff after the second time, you'll save time pulling it apart and putting it together correctly.
