Its smart to have "off-site" storage and bikes available at different locations incase of a tragedy like a home file.
I have bikes on both coasts and TX.
A good 4wheel drive with a gravel or mtn bike is also nice incase escape is necessary.
Id also suggest a few other survival needs in that road trip vehicle
