This particular route I would only do saturday or sunday morning. Colonial Parkway we prolly got passed 25 times but other than the one a hole it wasn’t bad. Coming back on 60, some areas there is not a shoulder. Traffic wasn’t bad yet, but any later in the day I would have came back on 143. I

My back I think is what broke me down mentally. It wasn’t pain, just out of no where It wasn’t comfortable anymore. I’m thinking In the future maybe every 90 mins stopping and stretching, that might help.


Recovery ride this morning.
Just remember, hunger and thirst signals get suppressed during exercise and I would probably carry something to replenish Na+ on any ride longer than 2 hrs or so under those conditions.
