Restarted piano lessons and played the entire Art of the Fugue I. She loved it and of course offered some corrections and areas to work on. Considering the Fugue performance, she thinks I should do a longer piece that will build on techniques in the Fugue and suggested Bach’s Italian Concerto.
Well, for 300 year old music, the Italian Concerto is totally cool but stupid hard. The rhythms are outrageous but sound bad ass and super cool. Why not. Here is the first movement of three and probably the most recognizable.
