I responded to some peer pressure and signed up for the damn this coming summer. I have great trepidation. I've never done more than 100 miles on gravel or 150 miles on tarmac, and I just don't know if I have the endurance. I picture paralyzing leg cramps somewhere in the last 1/3 of the event.
