I've dealing with some creaks recently, and I think the stem is the culprit. I'm also slightly lengthening the stem reach and switching to a shorter-reach bar to try and open up some leg room at the front end of the bike.

Anyway, to rule out any potential stem quality issues, I figured I'd go nuclear on this thing and get a Pearl.
