Hey, at least you aren't trying to get the SRAM aero rings I drooled over when I was starting; those were 54/42. There was no fatty/ novice option.
I finally went in for a 55/42 on the TT bike. I never thought I was strong enough to warrant it, but you finally talked me into it when you discussed the chainline stuff. Physics wins over biology.
