Screw that fluid trainer. Screw it.

It's almost like an animal that isn't of the Lord or something. The crappy cooling indoors and the nature of having something dragging you to a constant stop with no momentum.

I always forget to drop the power a few watts and overcooked my VO2 work last night on it. I got in ~12min in the power zone I was targeting.

Yeah, usually outdoors or on a trainer with some kind of better fan and road feel I can manage more like 20min.

I know I was getting after it. I hacked up some phlegm and thought I might puke in the shower afterwards.

I did manage to find the "time in zone" field for the Wahoo. It does exist, and it's a horribly motivating and saddening field depending on how the workout is going.
