Don't know what kind of terrain your riding on but I wouldn't consider a suspension seat post an upgrade in any condition. Sounds better than the results to me. For the road just raise out of the saddle for rough sections. Real off-road riding yes to shock fork and suspension frame MtB. For the road and bike path just works against ya.
