For your case, you'd be better served also going to a 12-27 cassette with a crankset change.
I have a couple of problems with a 12-27 cassette.
1. Shimano doesn't make an 11s 12-27 cassette
2. If they did make one, it would likely be missing an 18t cog that's very useful
