The purpose of this thread was really to get an idea of whether or not $2500 CAD for a 2013 Roubaix Expert is a good deal. I'm sure that Ultegra 11s are better than 10s. As I have stated earlier, even though the 11s are the next generation of Ultegras, the Ultegras 10s have been around for a long time and have served many riders very well. As for the frameset, there will surely be people for and against the SL4.
Some people have stated that it is a good deal and I tend to think that too. For the ones that would pass on this deal, what would you recommend in an endurance bike for that kind of money? There is also the 2014 Defy Advanced 1 (full Ultegra 11s) for $2300 CAD that I can pick up too. Is that more bang for my buck?
