SylvainG, I didn't have a problem. Perhaps the rain took care of it. Well, I did get dirty, but I didn't need to slow down because of a loose surface.

Here, on some roads and paths, abrasive stays for weeks after all the snow has melted. Took a fall two years ago going around a corner because I slipped on that abrasive.
