Did the second annual Moab Gran Fondo today, a 55 mile / 5500' climbing course through the La Sal Mountains.. Here I'm getting a ripe strawberry in passing from my wife who was helping at the KOM/QOM aid station. Improved my time by 5 minutes, placed 33 of 270. Lots more strong riders this year. Also experienced gnarly cramps in my quads and calves, starting almost before any climbing, and kept me seated for all the hills. Never had that before - still researching the cause.
