I probably wouldn't like the cold any more, but if I'm going to live somewhere with winter weather, I want it to go all-in. I haven't ridden my MTB in months because this winter there has been an unusual amount of snow on the ground, and trails are groomed for fat biking. That would be awesome if I had a fat bike, but over the last 5 years I've been here there's never been a winter with enough snow to justify owning one. Same story with snowshoes or XC skis.
