Jarman Gap Rd - slopes of Blue Ridge looking east


Blue Ridge! Driveway is paved, road is gravel. That’s how people roll here.

I thought I posted this earlier but don’t see it, so apologies if it’s a duplicate. I took the Ciöcc out on a last, or maybe next to last, shake down cruise before the Susquehanna Unpaved Ride next month. Dick Woods road is a somewhat heavily trafficked road in Albemarle County but there are stretches of almost unused and gravel road which I explored today. It was a short ride and I had a little hop in my step at the end so decided to ride part way up Jarman Gap road in Crozet. This is one of the local back doors to Skyline Drive.
