Here's my '88 Bianchi Forte (middle of the lineup of 5 MTBs for that year), after a few minor changes. It was pretty much all Shimano Exage Mountain components, heavily worn, so I've changed or at least removed the worn stuff.
It's funny, the headset and stem are both unbranded, but still very decent. Also the Celeste flat bars weighed around 5 pounds it felt like, so they had to go. 😉
I didn't grab a pic yet, but these SR hubs say King Kong on the black plastic dust seals. The only reference I found to that, was that they were popular with early BMXers.
Boy, black really doesn't photograph well, even in the sun. 🙄
