I'm building it as 650B; those are Soma Grand Randonneur 42's. Don't let the look fool you though; that's a road bike at its heart. The huge BB drop and slacker seattube might make it look otherwise, but I'd guess that's just Bottecchia coming out of the early 1950's geometries into what we know now from the '60s and '70s.

Gorgeous. Really highlights the beauty of the form this way. I read through that whole original thread - yes, those hammered fenders would be excellent, but just a cherry on top really!
